🌞 EVERY MORNING
• If not a wash day, gently style or refresh hair using water mist or leave-in spray.
• Apply Rootz Waterproof Hair Loss Concealer and Grey Root Cover (can be applied to wet or dry hair or a little of both! Experiment with what works best for you.)
• Apply Nut Job Hair Fibres only once hair is completely dry.
• If required, apply a lightweight, hair fibre friendly styling product like Nut Job Finishing Spray (avoid heavy oils).

• If heat styling, always apply heat protectant spray.
• Avoid tight styles (ponytails, hats, helmets) that pull or rub.
💡 Be kind to your hair — no harsh brushing or tugging, especially at the crown.
🌙 EVERY NIGHT
• If using, apply topical hair growth treatment or serum to clean, dry scalp.
• Use fingers or a scalp massager for 1–2 mins to stimulate circulation.
• Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and breakage.
• Keep hair loose — no tight buns or high ponytails in bed.
🔁 EVERY SECOND DAY
• Wash with sulphate-free, gentle shampoo designed for thinning hair like Nut Job Peppermint Hair Growth Shampoo.
• Take your time with your wash 💆 Massage scalp gently with fingertips (not nails) to boost blood flow. Allow time for active ingredients to sit on the scalp.
• Apply a gentle conditioner designed for thinning hair like Nut Job Peppermint Hair Growth Conditioner.
• If your hair is on the longer side, detangle in the shower with a wide-tooth comb.
• Pat dry with a microfibre towel or old cotton tee — never rub.
• Blow dry on cool/low heat, or air dry. Don’t forget your heat protectant spray if you’re blow drying!
📆 WEEKLY
• Do a gentle scalp exfoliation using a scrub or soft-bristled brush to remove build-up (especially if using medicated scalp products).
• Optional: Apply a hydrating scalp oil the night before wash day (skip if scalp is oily or sensitive).
📅 MONTHLY
• Clean hair tools (brushes, combs, fibre applicators, scalp massagers etc.) to prevent product build-up and bacteria negatively affecting all your hard work!
• Consider a clarifying shampoo once a month if you use lots of styling product and/or have excessively oily hair. Be sure to thoroughly vet the ingredients - clarifying shampoos can be extremely harsh and drying. You need a high-quality formulation that skips the dodgy ingredients (learn about them here.)
📘 EVERY SIX WEEKS - QUARTERLY
• Your hair length and personal grooming preferences will dictate how often you go to the barber/hairdresser to have your hair cut and styled. It’s a good idea to get into the habit of attending frequently as keeping your hair a flattering length will go a long way to concealing any hair loss. If possible, find a professional you trust and stick with them! Let them know about your concerns and ask them to monitor how your hair and scalp are responding to your routine.
• Reflect, reset, repeat: A good routine works because you stuck with it.
