We love seeing your before & afters, video reviews and application videos! Send us your snaps or videos and we’ll send you a little something to say thanks 🙂
This page includes checklists to ensure your submission ticks all the boxes as well as some tips to help you master the art of taking photos or video of yourself at home 🎬
Remember, we’re after genuine customer content so just you and your smartphone are enough. You don’t need to do any fancy editing or invest in studio lighting!

Video Tips
1. Lighting is Key
- Use natural light or a bright, even light source to avoid shadows.
2. Camera Positioning & Stability
- Place your smartphone at eye level for a natural angle.
- Prop your phone up to keep it steady - household objects like books or boxes will do just fine.
- If filming in a mirror, make sure the phone doesn’t block the view.
- Use your rear camera for best quality.
- Aim for a plain background where possible. We don’t need you to set up a home studio with a backdrop - just consider what’s behind you e.g. if you’re in your bathroom, aim for a plain bathroom wall rather than a zillion towels and toothbrushes.
- Please ensure you don’t have any other brands visible - move that can of Coke or bottle of moisturiser out of frame. Out of focus items in the background are usually ok.
3. Focus on Your Hairline
- Ensure the camera is focused on the area where you’re applying the products. On most smartphones, you can tap the screen on the area you want to focus on.
- As you move, ensure your hair remains in frame and isn’t going in and out of view.
4. Keep Movements Steady & Natural
- Apply fibres slowly and evenly so viewers can see the process and avoid sudden movements that might blur the video.
5. Keep It Short
- Try to keep your video as short as possible, particularly the application. If you end up with long pauses or accidentally blurt out your credit card number and need some portions of your video edited out, our content team will be able to do this for you so don’t stress! Also if you want to test out a range of different angles and movements for your before and afters that’s fine too, we can cut that down for you.
